ARHEN is committed to improving the health and well-being of people in rural and remote communities and supporting the rural health workforce.

We focus our advocacy on national policies and programs that shape the design and delivery of rural and remote health education, research and workforce development, as well as rural and remote health and human services.

ARHEN works closely with other peak bodies in the rural health sector to develop and influence Australian Government policies that affect the rural health sector as a whole.

ARHEN is a member of the National Rural Health Alliance and regularly collaborates with the Federation of Rural Australian Medical Educators and other peak bodies to promote and achieve common objectives.
