ARHEN welcomes rural mental health recommendations

The Australian Rural Health Education Network (ARHEN) today welcomed the Final Report from the House Select Committee on Mental Health and Suicide Prevention and the recommendations to improve access to services for people in rural and remote Australia.

Celebrating rural and remote Occupational Therapists

This week is national Occupational Therapy week and the University Departments of Rural Health (UDRH) are celebrating the skilled and dedicated occupational therapists working in rural and remote communities across Australia.

The ARHEN Board met in Canberra this week and welcomed a number of new UDRH directors to the Board. Our thanks to guest speakers Suzi Tegan from @NRHAlliance and officials from the RHMT and HMRO teams @healthgovau for joining us over the past two days.
