ARHEN Prizes for Rural and Remote Health Excellence 2026

The ARHEN Board invites applications from UDRH staff for the ARHEN Prizes for Rural and Remote Health Excellence 2026.

The ARHEN Board has established the prizes to recognise UDRH staff who make a positive contribution to the network and demonstrate behaviours consistent with ARHEN values and priorities.

There are four categories of awards on offer:

1. Excellence in student education or support
This category is for UDRH staff working with students to deliver high quality rural health education and placements.

2. Excellence in community engagement or development
This category is for UDRH staff undertaking community engagement or development activities that address the needs of their local community.

3. Excellence in rural and remote research
This category is for UDRH staff who undertake research that progresses the knowledge base on rural health education and workforce strategies, or on the work of UDRHs more broadly.

4. Excellence in UDRH administration or operational support
This category is for UDRH staff who provide administrative or operational support that contributes to the smooth operation of their UDRH.

How to apply

• Applicants should read the Guidelines – ARHEN Prizes for Rural and Remote Health Excellence 2026.
• Applicants should complete the Application Form and email to admin@arhen.org.au by the closing date.
• Applications close on Friday 13 November 2026. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
